Ne Me Quittes Pas

In this video performance, I am seen lip synching the song “Ne Me Quitte Pas” by Jacques Brel while participating in “Gay Roulette Chat”, a site used to hold random video calls between homosexual users. The songs’ hopless lyrics, calling for love, intimacy and comfort, are juxtaposed against the images of my one-off partners, some naked, some engaing in sexual acts, some amused by my perfromance, but most “quitte” me very quickly.
